Daniel Robbins is a Louisiana born, Inland Empire raised and Los Angeles based writer and actor. While growing up in a strict religious family, Daniel found an outlet in comedy. His focus on sketch comedy and improv brought him to The Groundlings Theater where he is now an alumnus and teacher. He regularly performs in comedy shows at The Groundlings Theater, The Acme, Second City and many more. Daniel teaches sketch writing to various groups and creates/directs bimonthly shows at The Comedy Central Stage and Lyric Hyperion. He has worked as a freelance copywriter for Day One Agency, Chipotle’s social media platforms and has ghostwritten for many other sources. Next, he will be appearing in Ronald D. Moore’s new Apple TV show as a Recurring character and can be seen in other Recurring and Guest Star roles on such shows as I’m Dying Up Here, Criminal Minds, Timeless, The Last Tycoon, L.A. Confidential and many more.
Daniel is currently shopping a half-hour comedy titled Prophits.
Prophits is a half-hour comedy about L.A. based preachers competing against one-another and navigating an International Christian Television Network while their greed and thirst for power lead to disastrous results.
