Jay received a Bachelor's in UCLA's Film/TV program & Master's degree in UCLA's Film MFA Screenwriting program. His writing was awarded the Jack Nicholson Screenwriting prize from UCLA's Film and Television Program.
His scripts have been recognized and won awards in various top competitions. Jay resides in New York, NY, is a member of the Writers Guild of America and heads the film company Midnight Magic Media.
