Louise Alston is an Australian-American, female director living and working between Los Angeles and Australia (currently in Los Angeles).
She has directed 14 feature films so far that have ended up on Netflix, Prime, Tubi, Disney, Hallmark, Lifetime, Passionflix, YouTube…
Variety called Jucy "colorfully stylized, sweet and silly"; Filmink praised the "abundant warmth, energy and charm" in her films; and SBS critic Margaret Pomeranz noted Louise's "good sense of visual comedy" in her romantic storytelling.
Louise’s directing style works very well for rom-coms, comedies, children/YA/family and thriller/horror genres.
A graduate of the Australian National Film School (AFTRS) and the UCLA Professional Program, Louise also has extensive experience in theatre and short film and has recently completed her PhD studies.
